Early Access to Battlefield 1 on the Xbox One and PC is now available and many are working their way through the action-packed but sensitive single-player campaign.
Giving how the majority of what transpires during the game is historically accurate, it makes the gamer feel a connection with its characters the Battlefield series has been missing for some time.
One scene, in particular, was shot so beautifully that if there was a short cinematic to short gameplay Oscar category, you’d have your winner.

During the “Through Mud and Blood” war story, your tank Black Bess will become stuck and surrounded by german soldiers. In an attempt to go out all guns blazing, you send a pigeon with a message to bombard the tank’s location.
You then take control of the pigeon over the battlefield you just crossed, which goes on to hit you right in the feels.
