Today DICE made their much anticipated announcement regarding Battlefield 4. As speculated throughout various parts of the internet, DICE has announced that Battlefield 4 will be seeing additional maps and content, stating that “Final Stand Is Not The End” as predicted by gamers some weeks ago.
In the announcement (which can be found here) DICE gave tidbits of information, while not specific, confirmed there will be new maps and provided a link to a survey in which players can vote for which map they would like to see recreated using the Frostbite 3.0 engine. Also in the announcement the last line reads “…. and for joining us for another year of BF4”.
