Sony has released firmware update 4.01 for the PlayStation 4, adding stability and fixing issues with remote play.
The update doesn’t take long to install and is as mundane as it sounds, bringing more stability to the system and ironing out issues regarding remote play between the PS4 and the PlayStation Vita.
The update is mandatory for those who wish to use the PlayStation Store and play games online and will take up only a smidge of your memory space.
This is the first update for the console since the launch of update 4.00, which added the ability to add folders to the console’s main screen and added a quick menu to make navigating options easier.
