United Front Games, the studio behind well-known 2012 release Sleeping Dogs has closed their doors without prior warning this week, with their latest game no longer for sale.
The Vancouver-based outfit were amid developing a new loot based title called Smash + Grab, with the game only recently hitting Early Access on Steam, making the closure feel sudden.
The game was available to buy at a discounted price following the end of the trial on Sunday, but now it’s disappeared from the store in light of the studio closing their doors.
The studio was created in 2007, with PS3-exclusive ModNation Racers the first game off the production line. It wasn’t until the release of 2012’s Sleeping Dogs that United Front Games made a name for themselves.
We wish all the best to those affected by the closure.
