GTA 5 Tops UK Entertainment Charts for 2013

GTA 5 Release on Next-Gen and PC Not Delayed Says Rockstar

While Call of Duty: Ghosts took the spoils in the market this festive season, fellow big release Grand Theft Auto 5 also made an impact when it arrived in stores last September. The crime hit did however make quite the stir in the United Kingdom, doing well enough in the sales charts to take number one spot on the “Top 20 Entertainment Products of 2013″.

According to a report from MCVUK on Jan. 1, the Rockstar developed title sold more units than any other entertainment based released in the calendar year, beating off competition from James Bond’s Skyfall and FIFA 14, with the latter always going down well with UK fans. Grand Theft Auto 5 managed to sell 3,670,234 copies across the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, with Skyfall some bit behind with 2,959,969 units on Blu-Ray and DVD formats sold.
