It’s no secret that PlayStation users were a little bummed out following the announcement Titanfall would only release on the Xbox and PC. Now with the PlayStation Experience coming this weekend, their hopes of experiencing the shooter series are higher than ever.
According to Gamespot, Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment will be at the event, prompting many to question if a big announcement is on the way, are Respawn ready to bring the shooter to the PlayStation 4?
At the moment Respawn have no games on the PlayStation system, which means Sony will announce either Titanfall 2 for the console, or a new IP from the developer has in the pipeline. Recent job listings on Respawn’s website are pushing towards a third-person action adventure, the developer looking for senior systems designer that has:
“Experience working on third-person action/adventure games, demonstrating major contributions in the areas of hero control schemes, enemy design, navigation mechanics, and combat.”
It’s exciting stuff and things are looking bright for the PlayStation 4 leading into the new year. All eyes will be on the PlayStation experience and the Game Awards 2014, all going down this weekend.
