After a torturous wait, FIFA 17 finally release worldwide this week and already millions of gamers are hitting it up online, in “The Journey”, FIFA Ultimate Team, and the much-loved career mode.

Those looking to play the latter longer than the debut season will certainly have their scouts out looking for emerging talent and FIFA 17 is full of potential, just finding it is the problem.

To give you a headstart, here’re five young players you can watch flourish into superstars.

Jonathan Tah – Potential Rating: 88


Currently playing his football at Bayer Leverkusen, Jonathan Tah is a young up and coming central defender stinking of potential. The 20-year-old German international who featured heavy for the Bundesliga side this season. With a potential rating of 88, Tah is someone you shouldn’t overlook.

Mauricio Lemos – Potential Rating : 88


Another promising center back, Lemos is currently playing his football with Las Palmas in Spain. The rugged 20-year-old isn’t shy of a challenge and when played can reach a potential of 88. The Uruguayan is definitely one to watch when building your team.

Renato Sanches – Potential Rating 90


The Portugese international is currently dodging defenders for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and after his performance in the Euro 2016 championship, doesn’t really need an introduction. That doesn;t mean his potential is FIFA is limited, the midfielder can get much better over time and can reach a potential rating of 90. Pace to burn, so get him early.

Ousmane Dembele – Potential Rating: 90


Another player hailing from the Bundesliga, Ousmane Dembele hasn’t yet locked down his place at Borussia Dortmund but does show signs of a potential susperstar in the future. Whilst at French side Rennes, the 19-year-old bagged 12 goals in 29 apperances and is improving with each match. Don’t be surspised to see this kid on the cover of FIFA some day.

Alen Halilovic – Potential rating: 89


The next Luka Modrić or Ivan Rakitić, Alen Halilovic is making a name for himself at Bundesliga side Hamburger SV. The 20-year-old is youngest ever debutant for the Croatian national team and is pegged to be the next big thing in football. While his potential doesn’t hit the 90, hos indiviaual talents in FIFA are everything you’ll need to lift trophies in seasons to come.
