Halloween Gaming, Three New Releases to Make Your Night Terrifying

Halloween is certainly one of the more exciting holidays for me, being a fan of horror movies it’s undoubtedly the best time of year to watch them. Not only all of the movies, but plenty of new games to help you enjoy your evening of evilness. Here at Lazy Gamers we have put together a list of new releases to make your night epic all the way from dusk ’til dawn.

Alien: Isolation (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC) Release Date: October 7, 2014 –Undoubtedly most gamers have been hearing the hype surrounding the October 7th, 2014 release of Alien: Isolation. Some reviews of the game have been good, some not so much, none the less it appears that most everyone can agree that this game is downright frightening. In this first person survival horror game, you will find yourself watching your every step as to not get seen or heard by the superior predator stalking you for hours on end. Lock the doors, turn off the lights, and be ready to be terrified.

Alien: Isolation Will keep you on edge every second.

The Evil Within (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC) Release Date: October 14, 2014 – From the creator of the Resident Evil series and released by Bethesda Studios, players will find themselves facing unimaginable icons of evil. From undead to evil beings, your heart will be pounding non-stop during this third person survival horror game. We warn you that some of the things you will see may never leave your memory.

The Walking Dead: Season 2 (PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One) Release Date: October 21, 2014 – Every Halloween has to have zombies right? The Walking Dead series based on Robert Kirkman’s comic book outing continues where season one left off with the main character Clementine (played by you), who is a young survivor in a zombie infested world. While it is not required to play season one, the developer recommends that you do (and so do we), that way you don’t miss any part of the story. While it may not be as terrifying as our first two mentions, this game might be a nice break to let your blood pressure return to normal.

If you can manage to score even one these three new releases you better bet that Halloween will be a night full of terror and excitement, it will no doubt keep you on edge.
