GTA Online Heists Delayed With No New ETA Announced

The long-awaited arrival of online multiplayer Heists to Grand Theft Auto Online will once again take a back set after developer Rockstar Games announced its delay until further notice.

The feature which pretty much everyone wants to play – around 32.5 million to be exact – was meant to release with the promised Spring update Rockstar had scheduled, but yet again has been delayed. The developer announced the news in a recent blog post, putting it down to “unforeseen complications”.

“For those of you asking about other upcoming GTA Online updates, we have lots more in store coming your way soon. We know many fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the Online Heists that we had planned to release for you this spring, and they are taking more time to create than originally anticipated. We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can.

“Please know that we are focused as always on making the best possible content for you to play and we are thankful to all of you for your patience, understanding and support. Stay tuned for more information on that as well as lots of other ongoing content updates, enhancements and additions to the world of GTA Online that are on the way.”

With no new date given, its hard to say how bad the problems effecting the update are, could be next month or even this Fall when the record-breaking title makes it way to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
