Hankering for some more Grand Theft Auto 5 action? Well you’re in luck with developer Rockstar Games bringing just that sometime next year, with brand new story DLC and online features expected.

For the online portion of the game gamers can expect a public beta for deathmatch and race creator coming sometime this week, allowing you to use tools to create a range of different races and deathmatchs. The developer also mentioned  the much-anticipated online heist mode in their recent blog post, but that feature is set to drop in 2014.

The record-breaking title will also get some new story DLC next year, with Rockstar not telling us what exactly we’ll be getting up to only that Trevor, Michael and Franklin will be present:

“For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto 5, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor’s action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas.”

If waiting isn’t your strong-point then late December will offer something to keep you entertained, with the highly competitive Capture mode also being introduced. No word on what exact date it will drop but I don’t expect us to be waiting long.
