The good news just keeps rolling in for developer Rockstar Games and their critically-acclaimed monster Grand Theft Auto 5. Take-Two Interactive revealed recently that the record-breaking title has shipped 32.5 millions copies since it’s release last Septemeber, making it the best-selling title for 2013.

The figures were revealed in Take Two’s fiscal third quarter 2014 report, which doesn’t come as a surprise after the title surpassed $1 billion is sales in a mere 72 hours following release. To really scope just how impressive the numbers are, take note of the NBA 2K franchise, which in total has sold 35 million copies.

This number could turn out to be significantly higher if Rockstar decide to deliver a PC port of the sandbox title to gamers, with the PC community making themselves loud and clear in favour of a release at some point. It will remain to be seen if Rockstar announce any release on the platform, but if they do I’m sure dollar signs will follow.
