The Division – “Protection From Elites” Attribute Increases Damage Taken From Elites

Things aren’t going so well for Ubisoft Massive and Tom Clancy’s The Division. Since they launched update 1.1 earlier this month, the cover shooter has been riddled with bugs and glitches, hampering the experience for many and allowing gamers to exploit the game.

Another bug has surfaced thanks to Redditor JaRrYc, one that might not be as big as other game-breaking issues but is so ridiculous not to share.

Experimenting with the “Protection From Elites” attribute, JaRrYc equipped the Striker’s Harness boasting a rating of 11%. Next, he travelled to Lincoln Tunnel Checkpoint  and took a shot from a sniper to see how much his health bar would decrease, shown in the image below.

JaRrYc then returned to the mission again, this time without the harness equipped and again allowed himself to be shot by a sniper. The image below shows that less damage is taken from elites when the “Protection from Elites” attribute is active.

Not a bug one would come across often and embarrassing for those at Ubisoft struggling to keep up with the tower of bugs the community send their way, which includes the unlimited damage glitch.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
